Virtual Field Trip

ABOUT THE VIRTUAL FIELD TRIP

Explore the small acts of kindness that can change lives and communities for the better as students investigate real-world examples of courage in the face of adversity.

White Bird, the inspiring new film from the world of Wonder, portrays a compassionate and heroic story of a girl’s attempts to escape Nazi-occupied France during WWII, reminding us of the importance of being brave and ‘choosing kind.‘

From the world of Wonder, which sparked a movement to “choose kind,” comes the inspirational next chapter: White Bird—a multi-generational film that teaches us that kindness lives on forever. To learn more, visit https://whitebird.movie/

We all understand the importance of kindness, courage, and resilience—but how do these ideas translate into actions in everyday life? Take students on a multi-media journey that uses historical testimony, fictional portrayals from the major motion picture White Bird, and contemporary perspectives to highlight the power that kindness has to make our world a better place.

The White Bird Virtual Field Trip explores the ways that story can be used to change hearts and minds, highlighting amazing accounts of survival from the Holocaust and investigating the ways that those stories live on today.
